The Ten Selves – Wu (Earth) People
Your Self sheds light on the favorable – and unfavorable. What Element do you fall into?
Wu Earth: a rock-solid promise.
Each Self displays
specific characteristics that can help us understand ourselves better, as well
as others around us – whether it is a loved one or a complete stranger.
Wu and Ji people
fall into the Earth Element, but can physically and emotionally appear very different.
Wu is the Yang
Earth Self; it makes people associated with the Element sturdy as a stone and
as rooted as a tree. The image of Wu Earth is high ground, where it is dry and
more laborious to excavate – emphasizing how they are less likely to let their
guard down compared to their Yin counterpart.
The tall mountain
tends to hide what riches it holds.
Others perceive Wu
people as rough or straightforward, but beneath their tough exterior, they are
steady, well-grounded, industrious and generous. They might not readily reveal
their positive qualities, but when trust has been earned - an excavation can
bring out some priceless treasures.
